Office LTSC 2024 is now available

Microsoft has announced the release of Office LTSC 2024, an office suite designed for customers who want to purchase the product on a one-time basis and not switch to the Microsoft 365 subscription model. The LTSC version is also perfect for organizations that have computers that cannot receive functional updates or have no internet access.
Office LTSC 2024 includes features from previous Office versions as well as some new innovations from the enterprise versions of Microsoft 365 apps. The package is available for Windows and macOS and includes a standard set of apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote, and Access (for Windows only).
It’s important to note that users of Office LTSC won’t receive new features through updates, as they would with apps using a Microsoft 365 subscription. Additionally, users won’t have access to smart features such as those offered by the Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Office LTSC 2024 has already been released for existing corporate and government customers who have a Volume license. In addition, new versions of the Project and Visio products have been released. From October 1st, 2024, other customers will be able to purchase Office LTSC 2024.
In the weeks to come, Microsoft will share more details about the Office 2024 consumer version.
