Tuesday is Microsoft’s Update Day

April 9/2024 cumulative updates for Windows 11 and Windows 10 have been released.

Microsoft has released monthly cumulative updates for all supported operating systems. These updates do not include any new features, but they are designed to fix errors and eliminate vulnerabilities that have been detected. The updates are already available through the Windows Update Center. For more information about the changes in each update, please visit the official website and click on the links provided below. Additionally, you can find links to manually download update packages from the Microsoft catalog nearby.

Windows 11:

  • Windows 11 (v. 23H2) — KB5036893 (OS Build 22631.3447). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
  • Windows 11 (v. 22H2) — KB5034765 (OS Build 22621.3447). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
  • Windows 11 (v. 21H2) — KB5036894 (OS Build 22000.2899). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

Note: Versions 22H 2 and 23 H2 have a common base operating system version and an identical set of system files, which is why they receive the same cumulative updates.

Windows 10:

  • 2022 Update (v. 22H2) — KB5036892 (OS Build 19045.4291). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
  • November 2021 Update (v. 21H2) — KB5036892 (OS Build 19044.4291). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
  • October 2018 Update (v. 1809) — KB5036896 (OS Build 17763.5696). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
  • Anniversary Update (v. 1607) — KB5036899 (OS Build 14393.6897). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
  • Windows 10 (v. 1507) — KB5036925 (OS Build 10240.20596). Manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog.

Note: Versions 2004, 20H2, 21H1, and 21H2 all share a common base version of the operating system and therefore receive the same cumulative updates due to having an identical set of system files.
