Windows 11 insider build number 26100

Microsoft released a new Windows 11 insider build number 26100 for insiders on Dev and Canary channels. If no critical errors are found in this board, then it will be able to be installed by OEMs on their new devices.

Recently, Microsoft has been trying not to use the term RTM (Release To Manufacturers), since it has lost its original meaning. In the past, the assembly of the RTM was the final version of the operational system supplied by the installation media to our manufacturers, partners, subscribers of MSDN and, finally, consumers. In the era of Windows as a Service, many of the planned Functions are missing. This is a very stable version of the platform.

Submitted by Windows Central, the release of Windows 11 version 24H2 is scheduled to be completed in July 2024. By this time, the planned functions must be completed, and the surface of the RTM assembly will be realized with the help of cumulative updates.

It is expected that OEMs will receive the assembly with the number 26100.x is already next week.

Insiders using this build can access the Windows Insider program. The images of this assembly can also be used for a “clean” installation of the operating system on the device. This is due to the fact that this version will regularly receive cumulative updates and security updates.
